Nestled in the highlands of Nakuru County, Kabarak Farm benefits from some of Kenya’s most ideal dairy farming conditions. The volcanic soil is naturally rich in minerals. Farm Operations:
Our Kabarak herd includes some of our most productive Guernsey cows, averaging 24-28 liters per cow on first lactation, with many exceeding 30 liters on their second lactation. The farm employs local community members and contributes to the regional economy while maintaining the highest animal welfare standards.
Makongi Farm, Uasin Gishu County
In the highlands of Uasin Gishu County, Makongi Farm carries the legacy of its founder, Hon. Reuben Chesire, who acquired the farm in 1971. Under his visionary leadership until his passing in 2008, Makongi became more than a farm; it became a testament to what agriculture can achieve when guided by community commitment and unwavering standards.
Today, the farm is managed by the Chesire family, led by Alice Chesire, continuing Reuben’s dedication to both agricultural excellence and community development. The Reuben and Alice Chesire Foundation operates from the farm, supporting education and agricultural training for the next generation.
